Our story

From an 88-Degree Garage to Two Connecticut Shops

An old styling chair, a utility light and a standard for the fade. The story of Blur, from North Haven in 2018 to Branford in 2025.

The name says it

When the lines
disappear.

The name Blur comes from a seamless fade—one where visible transition lines disappear. That technical standard gave the shop its name and its starting point.

From an old chair in a garage to a small two-chair shop on Washington Avenue, the business grew into its current North Haven location in 2019. In 2025, Angelo Graziano and Joe DiPalma partnered on a second location in Branford.
